GP90D DGPS/WAAS
The Furuno GP90D
is a high-performance DGPS/WAAS navigator designed for virtually every type
of vessel. It fully meets IMO Res MSC.112(73) and IEC 61108-1 Ed.2 for SOLAS
carriage requirements on and after July 1, 2003. Built around Furuno's high-performance
12-channel, parallel receiver, the GP90D offers a wide range of versatile graphic
and data display modes. The GP90D has a built-in DGPS receiver. Nav information
is shown on a high-contrast, Silver Bright liquid crystal display. The waterproof
case has a slim profile, so it will fit practically anywhere. The antenna is
also very small and unobtrusive.
Like all Furuno
nav receivers, the GP90D features Furuno's advanced NMEA 0183 programmable interface
system. This allows you to feed highly accurate nav data to your Furuno radar,
AIS, chart plotter, autopilot or sounder. It features 2,000 points for ship's
past positions and marks, including a maximum of 99 event marks. You can also
store 999 waypoints and 30 routes each containing up to 30 waypoints.
